Dr. Zachary Tan is an Orthopedic Surgeon and a Spine Surgeon. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). He specializes in general orthopedics, spine and sports medicine. Dr. Tan received his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Alberta. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of Toronto. He completed an additional year of fellowship training in Complex Spine Surgery at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

Dr. Tan has a high volume community Orthopedic and Spine practice in Washington State, just south of the BC border. He continues to see Canadian patients at the CPRI New Westminster office several times a month.

Dr. Tan is passionate about providing all Canadian patients with rapid access Orthopedic and Spine surgical care, and believes all Canadian patients have the option to receive their specialist consultations within days of inquiry, and surgery within 2-3 weeks.

All consultations and procedures, non surgery, performed in Canada are covered under MSP.

Dr. Tan performs surgeries privately only in Washington State, U.S.A

Dr. Tan is also passionate about providing the most cutting edge technologies and techniques, including the anterior hip replacement, total and partial knee (unicompartmental / patellofemoral) replacement, MAKO Robotics, minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal cord stimulator implantation, cervical disc replacements, and stem cell injections to name a few.
