Hasiba Karimi is an international medical doctor who graduated from Bezmialem Vakif University in Istanbul, Turkey. She is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and is a College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)–licensed clinical observer. Her clinical experience spans Turkey, United States, and Canada across different disciplines. She is currently pursuing her path to becoming a fully licensed physician in Canada. She is deeply passionate about evidence-based and patient-centered care and hopes to be remembered by her patients as a thoughtful and attentive listener. She is actively involved in medical research including, public health, neuro-oncology, and medical education. 

Outside of medicine, Hasiba enjoys spending time in nature and exploring landscape photography. She likes staying active and trying different workouts. She also enjoys reading across genres, watching movies, writing pieces in Persian, Turkish, and English, and playing table tennis with her sisters.”
